KIDS Drum Making Workshop (4-11 years old)

9 am- Noon     $30- $40  per child (depending on drum size choosen) fee includes  all supplies to make a 12" or 18" Ashiko drum, instruction, a meaningful age appropriate offering on the drum and a drum circle. Presented in a safe, nurturing atmosphere where each child is accompanied by a parent or other significant adult. This is not only 3 hours of great Fun but a chance to share something wonderful with Your favorite Kid (or two)! When all drums are finished everyone will enjoy a drum circle. Each child leaves with a wonderful memory and a quality instrument that they made! Workshop will be held at EYE of the VORTEX Retreat in West Sedona.

                             Drum Making Workshop for TEENS

5-9pm          $40-80     per person (depending on drum choosen)

This 4 hour workshop is designed to meet the needs of the beautiful spirit of our teens. Always looking for an outlet to channel their endless energy and their amazing creative flow~  Combined with their need for tools to ground themselves and their search for sacred ceremony, tradition and finding their voice~ Makes this workshop not only fun - but an educational program that your teen will always remember!

Participants will gather in a circle to learn more about The Drum / Drumming and to form intent. Everyone will have one to one assistance from Stan during the drum making process and when each drum is complete we will give it voice and drum around the fire circle.                 Fee includes ~   Program, all supplies to make a 12" or 18" Ashiko drum or 18" tunable Ashiko drum, snack and drink.

Native Hand Drum Workshop

10am-

We will gather at

EYE of the VORTEX Retreat        in the heart of Sedona in the morning~

and with the Red Rock walls standing in quiet strength of sentry ...we will birth our drums.

This will be a full day of fun, learning and growth with Stan the drum man and other like-minded people. And you will have a beautiful, quality, hand-made drum to take with you!

On the 20th we will give our drums a voice at a  Full Moon Drum Circle  on Hobbits Table at Sedonas famous Cathedral Rock.

Workshop fee includes all supplies to build a 16" black cherry native hand drum, lunch, late afternoon snack, drinks and full moon ceremony (May 20)

ONLY $ 170.

*add $20 if you prefer 18"

*deduct $25 if you prefer a soft wood drum

Adult Djembe Making Workshop(and other African drums)

9am- Sundown

$140 - up depending on drum choice

This workshop will be held in the heart of Sedona. As most know just spending time in this area is awe-inspiring and invokes healing and direction.

Now... let's add a large group of kindred spirits, a love for the rhythm of our earth, a desire to feel that heart beat, quality supplies and Stan (the drum man)... and you have an amazing, empowering  experience and a beautiful drum to continue your beat.

We'll begin our journey at 9 a.m . Lunch, drink and late afternoon snack is provided for you--(please feel free to bring anything else you may want or need in addition to that.)

 The drums offered for this workshop are~

Ashiko * Djembe * Kenkeni * Sanghba * Djundjun * Dununba          * Ceremonial

 add a nominal fee of $20 to each drum price  to provide you lunch, drink, late afternoon snack,  and Full Moon Drumming.
